LEARN TO CROCHET – GRANNY SQUARES
Learn how to crochet a basic granny square coaster with guest tutor, Ali Robinson. You might know about Ali from her inspiring Instagram page, @doodlesinwool. She is an expert, a generous teacher and a real enthusiast for craftmaking, especially with yarn.
Working in the round using basic stitches and techniques, including how to finish off and join yarn to change colours. With a look at pattern and charts.
If you’ve ever thought to pick up a hook and make that first loop but don’t know how, please don’t miss this.
You can bring your own yarn and crochet hook (4mm) or Ali will bring a selection of wools for you to choose from. Hooks available to borrow. Take away for a small donation.
Learn to Crochet skill level is Beginners. Suitable for Adults. Please note early start time of 10.30am.
Refreshments are included, for when you need a little break. The workshop will be delivered following current COVID guidelines. Spaces available limited to 4. Early booking is advised.
