The MAKE CREATE REUSE Project
FREE Friday workshops for young adults 16-25 years old
MADE in East Lothian has just launched a year-long programme of free creative reuse workshops for young adults, ages 16 – 25.
These workshops offer up to 6 participants at each session to work on art, craft and home design projects, building their understanding of the creative possibilities of waste items, as well as improving their repair skills.
The first of six blocks of four workshops focuses on “Insta-ready Christmas décor” and starts on Friday 1st November 2024. Using materials found in MADE’s creative ReUse Hub, these workshops will appeal to young adults who love styling their spaces for Christmas. In addition to tuition, all materials are free.
The free workshops are possible with support from the National Lottery Awards for All Scotland.
