A six-month programme of creative activities and events to inspire the local community to make, create and reuse
TOTES FOR LIFE
Friday 8 July, 2-4pm
Make colourful fabric tote-bags, useful for shopping or storage. A great gift too. We’ll use found textiles (supplied or bring your own) and you’ll discover simple sewing skills to make a briliant bag, sustainable and useful. Suitable for adults.
PAINTINGS FOR THE BRIDGE
Friday 22 July, 2-4pm
Join us to create paintings inspired by creative connections and conversations so far. Painting with acrylic on plywood, we’d like you to make an painting which we can exhibit either on or close to The Victoria Bridge.
Saturday 13 August, 10am-12pm
We’re making a big book showcasing all the projects, events and workshops, which includes our hopes and dreams for the future. Help collage and assemble pages before we each hand bind sections of the book which will then get assembled at the end. Suitable for adults and school-age children.
