PAINTINGS FOR THE BRIDGE
A FREE TICKETED WORKSHOP, part of Creative Connections.
During Creative Connections, we’ve discovered lots about the Hardgate, the road on which MADE’s Arts Hub lies. We hope to develop the Hub in the near future and continue to connect our local community to creativity through our moto, Create, Make and Reuse. Join us to create paintings inspired by creative connections and conversations so far.
We’ve had story-telling events looking at the importance of creative spaces shaping positive futures; made 3D artwork out of found and recycled materials to tell the history of the site; we’ve created collages exploring the significance of creative spaces. And we’ve run workshops connecting people with new and useful skills.
Now, painting with acrylic on plywood, we’d like you to make an painting which we can exhibit either on or close to The Victoria Bridge. The bridge over looks the back of the Arts Hub. How brilliant to have community painted art reflecting the kind of activities we enable there. What a wonderful public demonstration of MADE’s ethos and the potential of creative community!
We’ll provide images and text to inspire your paintings!
Suitable for families.
