Description

Kate Henderson lives close to the beautiful city of Edinburgh and constantly finds inspirations from the architecture of the city. She enjoys observing the details and patterns from the buildings, simplifying and stylizing them in her paintings. Her works are not representational but contain the essence of place, strengthened by an intuitive use of colour.

The original work of “Morningside” was made in acrylic and mixed media on card.
