Haddington Art Weekend

Haddington Art Weekend is returning this September after a successful first event in the town last year.

The popular arts event will take place on September 5 and 6. Visitors can enjoy a curated open studio trail, art exhibitions and creative workshops across Haddington.

Last year, 15 local artists took part in the Haddington open studios weekend. They welcomed visitors across seven venues and gallery spaces in the town.

The event attracted people from Haddington, across East Lothian and further afield. Visitors travelled from places including Helensburgh and Perth to explore the work of local artists and makers.

This year, the organisers hope to welcome even more artists, art lovers and collectors to Haddington.

Fiona Lambert, director of MADE in East Lothian, said:

“It is a great chance to celebrate the talented artists and makers living and working in and around the town.”

Haddington Art Weekend is a great opportunity to discover local artists and visitors can explore peoples studios, view artwork and also have a chat with various artists and makers.

There will be a range of creative workshops and art exhibitions to enjoy. So, whether you are a keen art collector or simply looking for something interesting to do in East Lothian, there will be plenty to discover and explore.

Haddington Art Weekend takes place on September 5 and 6 from 10am – 5pm.
