RECYCLED PAPER MAKING
Did you every wonder how that wonderful but often expensive handmade paper is made? In this introductory workshop, MADE’s Emily Tough will guide you through the process of recycled paper making.
You’ll learn how to turn scraps of paper into pulp before finally creating deckled (rough) edge paper, including papers with fun inclusions such as lavender buds, gold flakes, and more. Each participant will come home with a few pieces of handmade paper of various sizes and colors.
You are welcome to bring any paper scraps you have at home (glossy paper not recommended). You can also bring petals, old prints, drawings and photos memorabilia.
All materials and tools are provided.
Refreshments are included, for when you need a little break. The workshop will be delivered following current COVID guidelines. Spaces are limited so early booking is advised.
Suitable for adults. All abilities are welcome. It can get messy so please wear clothes that you don’t mind getting smudged. Pinnies are provided.
