MIXED MEDIA – COLLAGE
Collage is “both the technique and the resulting work of art in which pieces of paper, photographs, fabric and other ephemera are arranged and stuck down onto a supporting surface.” (tate.org.uk)
Fiona Lambert will introduce you to the art of collage, showing you how to select and arrange photographs, coloured and textured paper and other types of mixed media. You’ll build up a background of different papers and cuttings from newspapers, magazines, old photos, envelopes. Also found objects and other types of mixed media such as threads and fabric.
