INTRODUCTION TO WET FELTING
Kate Allan will show you that feltmaking is a fun, simple and surprising craft. The basics of wet felting are quick and easy to learn but the possibilities after that are endless. You’ll learn how to make both flat and 3D work. Prepare for lots of woolly and soapy “AHA!” moments!
Wet felting is the process of using a combination of friction, soap and water to interlock and compact wool fibres together to make felt. With practice, you can learn to make colourful artworks or book covers. And when you get more skilled, you might even make your own slippers.
