UPCYCLING PROJECTS – FURNITURE
In this full day furniture upcycling workshop, MADE’s Fiona Lambert will guide you on how to revamp and refurbish your piece of furniture. She will give you the tools, tips and advice to start restyling your own interiors.
Upcycling furniture using chalk paint (supplied) can breathe new life into something faded but treasured and useful. Fiona will guide you through preparation, painting and finishing techniques to transform your chosen project. She will also show how to make simple repairs and refurbishments, such as basic upholstery techniques.
All materials are provided but participants should bring along a piece of furniture to work on. This should be easy to carry and no larger than a bedside table or wooden chair. Also, please bring any fabrics you might want to use on your project.
Refreshments are included, for when you need a little break. The workshop will be delivered following current COVID guidelines. Spaces are limited so early booking is advised. Suitable for adults. All abilities are welcome. It can get messy so please wear clothes that you don’t mind getting paint on. Pinnies are provided.
