Using arcylics and ink, and taking inspiration from her surroundings, Kate’s work is vibrant and energetic.
The original of Kate’s painting Victoria Street Edinburgh (below) was recently sold. You can still buy a stunning print from us though. Online and at the Arts Hub.

Trained in Stained Glass at Edinburgh College of Art, Kate has built a varied portfolio of commissioned glass for buildings across Scotland and Europe.
She has won awards for her paintings from the RGI and RSW. She is an elected Associate of the BSMGP, a Professional member of the SSA and was Chair of the SGS from 2013-16.
“ I love the way light falls around a building, especially evening light; the cool subtle tones create a contrast against the warmth of street or interior building lights. My works are not representational but contain the essence of place, strengthened by an intuitive use of colour.”
