MARKETING YOUR CREATIVE BUSINESS
A two-hour workshop designed to help artists and makers with existing businesses to integrate digital promotion and social storytelling into their creative practice.
The workshop content is flexible depending on participants’ requirements. We will,
- Audit your current marketing activity
- Identify your business and marketing goals
- Work out who your customers are
- Planning and scheduling
- Work out how to engage your audience, tell stories and improve your photography.
You’ll also join MADE in East Lothian’s creative community with access to affordable ongoing mentoring, as well as invaluable selling opportunities (just 25% commission), events and free inclusion in our own marketing activity.
With four participants maximum, we’ll identify your achievable digital plan, and give you confidence to tell deliver your marketing messages.
This workshop is hosted by Nicky Orr, MADE’s ecommerce coordinator. Nicky has worked in the cultural industries for over 30 years. She began in theatre administration and was press officer with Edinburgh Book Festival. Nicky runs her own creative reuse and vintage business, Frugal Cool. She taught marketing and PR at Queen Margaret University and worked in commercial retail and digital communications.
