Marketing your CREATIVE SMALL BUSINESS
This two-hour workshop is designed to help artists and makers integrate digital promotion and storytelling into their creative practice.
We will help you develop social media as a creative action which can benefit your business.
The workshop content is flexible depending on participants’ needs. We can look at,
- Goals and expectations
- Best platforms and what’s achievable
- Storytelling and photographs
You’ll also join MADE in East Lothian’s creative community with access to affordable ongoing mentoring, as well as invaluable selling opportunities (just 25% commission), events and free inclusion in our own marketing activity.
With just four participants maximum, we’ll identify your achievable digital plan, and break down your barriers.
This workshop is hosted by Nicky Orr, MADE’s ecommerce coordinator. Nicky has worked in the cultural industries for over 30 years. She began in theatre administration and was press officer with Edinburgh Book Festival. Nicky runs her own creative reuse business, Frugal Cool and has a vintage Etsy shop. She taught marketing and PR at Queen Margaret University and worked in commercial retail and digital communications.
