Description

Inspired by living close to the Firth of Forth, with its many harbours nestling along the coastline, Kate Henderson often enjoys walks with her family observing the countryside. She enjoys observing the details and patterns from the boats, simplifying and stylizing them in her paintings. Her works are not representational but contain the essence of place, strengthened by an intuitive use of colour.
