Originality of concept is central to the designs of My Jewelled Box. Their techniques concentrate on the preciousness of the idea rather than on the material value of the object.
“We want our work to prove that jewellery design evolves just like any other art or design discipline. We are passionate about making designer jewellery more widely accessible.”Their latest collection called Found Beneath is now available at MADE’s Makers’ Gallery (a small selection are also online). It is inspired by various utensils from bronze age found in Scotland. Everything is made by hand using the same basic tools as centuries ago.
