UPCYCLING PROJECTS – WEE CHAIR CHALLENGE
In this furniture upcycling workshop, we’re supplying the project this time.
These perfect little school chairs have seen quite a few years of excellent use
Fiona will guide you through preparation, painting and finishing techniques to transform the chair. You might decide to decoupage or use stencilling. Or maybe some basic upholstery. The design is entirely yours.
Materials and chalk paints are provided. However, please bring any materials you’d especially like to use on your project, just incase we don’t have what you need. And if you’d like to pick a chair in advance, pop into the Arts Hub anytime. Please note, the chair can’t be deconstructed and we cannot use spray paint at the Hub.
Of course, the chair is yours to take home.
Refreshments are included, for when you need a little break. The workshop will be delivered following current COVID guidelines. Spaces are limited so early booking is advised. Suitable for adults. All abilities are welcome. It can get messy so please wear clothes that you don’t mind getting paint on. Pinnies are provided.
