Discovery Day is a brand new way for you to be creative at MADE in East Lothian.

Using our materials and tools, this is a time for you to get creative in our studio, making, creating and having fun.

Discovery Day sessions offer mindful time and space for you to experiment and play.

This month, you’re invited to join Nicky once more in the studio to work with different kinds of papers, prints, handmade and magazines, pens and paint, to tell a story through layered image and colour. Get ripping, cutting and sticking.

The session is essentially untutored as this is a time for you to put aside thoughts of everyday and find your passion for art.

Suitable for age 16+. Beginners welcome. Materials and inspirations will be available but you’re welcome to bring your own.

This workshop is hosted by Nicky Orr, MADE’s workshop and marketing coordinator. Nicky has worked in the cultural industries for over 30 years. She began in theatre administration and was press officer with Edinburgh Book Festival. Nicky runs her own creative reuse and vintage business, Frugal Cool.
